To run a production-grade personal finance platform, we only collect information necessary to deliver our features, handle authentication, and process your subscription:
Account & Authentication Data
Your name, email address, and information related to shared access, such as your user role (Owner, Partner, or Advisor) and household organization.
Financial Information
Banking and investment data retrieved securely. When you connect a financial account, Talio receives your balances, transactions, and holdings based on the permissions of your subscription tier. We also collect transaction data uploaded manually from OFX/CSV files.
Receipt & Expense Data
The contents of receipts and invoices forwarded to your dedicated Talio email or uploaded directly for the purpose of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and expense categorization.
Technical & Usage Data
App usage metrics to track feature access and ensure compliance with resource limits (e.g., the number of connected accounts and monthly AI scan quotas), as well as IP addresses and diagnostic logs for performance monitoring and security.

To extract expense data, process calculations like Time-Weighted Return (TWR), and generate cash flow analyses.
Subscription Management
To process payments securely. Talio does not store credit card numbers on its servers; we store billing pointers and subscription states.
